grandparents day

The 9th of November 2018 we had Grandparents day, first of all we went to the church for mass.        Then we went  to show our Grandparents round our class rooms and had morning tea then we
 went over to the hall for all the amazing performances and they were amazing. so we had pi, kapahaka, marimba, and lots more. After they performed all the grandparents went home. And that was grandparents day finished. At morning tea my grandparents cane out side and I showed them round the school.

I used binary code to make my name.

This is using my algebra knowledge because it is making patients and to code. 

T3 writing goals

My writing goal for Term 3  is to us more ideas in my writing and to add supporting details to help the audience understand my ideas better.

I am using capital letters and full stops correctly most of the time but hardly any other punctuation. i still need to work on this.


Update: My new T4 writing goal is to use more punctuation in my writing. to make it more interesting

Now that I can start sentences in different ways because it helps me make my writing more exciting.  I notice that I can use words like verbs (action word) or saying when it happened.

Hei tiki

Last Friday me and my class went to the museum to make Tiki.

1. I made Tiki with felt,cotton,buttons,needle, scissors we also got to touch some Tiki. 

` Dear Mr Macmillan, We are writing to you because we know wheels would be the best Idea for our extra Goldentime. In fact it will be a great Golden Time activity because it grows our muscles and will make us stronger. This will help us get ready for sports. In fact if we get stronger then we can ride faster on our wheels and you know going faster is more fun, right? Growing stronger doesn’t have to end at Golden Time, it can help us with all activities, even outside of school. As you can see it also makes you fitter, it makes you faster and run longer we can get better. Being fitter will even help us learn better. It helps you with events like cross country and the mini marathon and athletics day and swimming sports. Also because it is super fun, because everyone will like it, School is meant to be fun and because practice makes permanent. Most people will like it because it is also the great outdoors and because you will get vitamin D. We acknowledge that not everyone will want to do wheels for Goldentime but we are sure once they are on their wheels they will love it and think it is awesome. We read about the playground that got damaged in the  earth quake and they hat to                               build another one after the earth quake. Using Minecraft we are making a playground that they could have designed. The most amazing part of the design is roller coaster.

Camp

I think camp was fun because we did amazing games after dinner. I saw Hamilton
 zoo and there were lots of amazing Animals. I wonder if Hamilton zoo will get more amazing cheetahs?
